I’m excited about the future of Nampa. One area of improvement and progress is access for cyclists and pedestrians. We have a great Nampa Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, as they look at ways to better serve a growing contingent in our city. I’ve met with folks in north Nampa, some of whom don’t drive cars and instead depend on other transportation options. Improved pathways and access for this community is a big deal. Better access means increased safety, which matters a great deal to me.
Anyhow, this progress is good. And it’s only going to get better. The picture below is a zoomed in portion of a map for proposed pathways being represented with the dotted green lines. It’ll be exciting to get those pathways to Lake Lowell.
