The Hogaboam campaign strongly denounces the hatred exhibited in Charlottesville tonight

Nampa, ID: The Rick Hogaboam campaign strongly denounces the hatred exhibited in Charlottesville tonight. Hogaboam: “My grandpa volunteered to fight in WWII to defeat Nazism. He taught me to love and embrace others, and he modeled it in his personal life. While we’re a country that protects free speech, I absolutely hate and detest seeing that flag waved in our own streets. I offer my prayers for the deceased and injured. Not only did a young woman die senselessly, but pilot, Lt. H. Jay Cullen and Trooper Berke M.M. Bates also perished in a crash while assisting public safety resources. We must remain vigilant in our commitment to be a welcoming and loving society for people of all ethnicities, color, and backgrounds. The good people of Nampa stand with the victims of this cowardly act from a ‘man’ consumed with hatred. White nationalism, Nazism, and racism are not welcome in our community. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr., we must not remain ‘silent behind the anesthetizing security of stained-glass windows.'”
